Restaurant Style Oven Baked Tortilla Chips

Ingredients

  • 12 corn tortillas
  • vegetable oil
  • salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Brush each side of tortilla with oil. Cut tortillas into 8 chip sized wedges, and arrange the wedges in a single layer on a foil lined cookie sheet.
  3. Sprinkle with salt
  4. Bake for about 8-10 minutes until brown and crisp. (Be sure to keep a eye on them the last 2 minutes. They can easily burn if in the oven a minute too long)
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with more salt to taste.

TIP: For extra flavor: spray or brush with lime juice and paprika.
